tea & sympathy

about me find me elsewhere for you to listen to things i like tags & such
I was just flattened into the seat of my chair by the sheer weight of feels. People caring about me caring about them turns me into goo.

 ~mops you up fondly~

We’re definitely on the same sads-cycle. That, or we share some strange existential/emotional link.

whichever it is, it’s making me feel selfishly comforted :3

(can we just hug each other and all our problems will disappear, like canceling-out, or something?)

starkofpancakes sent: half my novels have to do with living in the forest i think that is all i really want in life

i like you because you understand x

rexbasileus replied to your post:
can i come too? i just want a little hole in the ground (a hobbit hole, tho) and a garden to grow cabbages and potatoes.

of course you can! (that is, so long as you pledge to share the potatoes)

Wanna be neighbors in the forest? We can have our corgis and they’ll be so cute romping around in the leaves that we’ll forget about the woes of job hunting!

you will have the treehouse closest to mine and we will spend our evenings drinking mint tea and tossing the acorn shells for our corgis to fetch and our lives will be dreamy and delightful

I vote to run into the forest, build an introvert paradise and live in tree houses forever and ever

your ideas are perfect and i love you xo

anobium625 sent: Your list of favorite authors includes four of the so-called "Wheaton Seven." The ones you are missing are Owen Barfield, George MacDonald, and Charles Williams (the Inkling, not the writer of murder mysteries). I have a website, easy to find on Google, devoted to Constance Savery. Just commenting...

ah, how fascinating - i’d never heard of the ‘wheaton seven’! i do have george macdonald listed, but i’ve only read bits of owen barfield and charles williams, i’m afraid

and i think i have found your website! i looked her name up a few months ago and there wasn’t much, but i was very happy for what there was :)

thank you for the message! xo

“i want to be daenerys targaryen when i grow up” ME TOO. you think I’m joking

seriously, who wouldn’t want to be daenerys targaryen

I want a corgi, too! I think I settled on the name Watson, though :)

can you imagine how cute our little corgis would be running around with those names omg :3

OH MY STARS I’M SO GLAD I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH MIXED FEELINGS ABOUT CHILDREN

ME TOO

like they can be so sweet and cute and precious and make you feel like the greatest thing in the world when they want you to play with them but most of the time they’re just loud and squeaky and messy and insensitive and SO OVERWHELMING

i think if i ever have children of my own i will love them wholeheartedly, but at the moment i’m much more comfortable with cats. X)

rexbasileus sent: TAG. YOU'RE IT! The rules are to state 7 random facts about yourself. Then, go to your favorite 10 blogs and tell them they're it. :)

you are really the sweetest, thank you :D

erm, facts. yes. i’m not quite sure i can come up with seven facts that aren’t horribly boring, but i will valiantly try.

1. “posse” by kimbra is my anthem. all of her songs are splendid, really. i love kimbra.

2. i have very recently discovered that i am a tea-vampire - this has changed my life, but in a positive way, as so many of my habits have now been justified and made clear in the light of this new information.

3. one day i would like to own a corgi. i would name it barkis.

4. i want to be daenerys targaryen when i grow up (we’re practically the same person except that she is 1000x cooler than me)

5. follow-up: before i started watching got i expected not to like dany that much because EVERYBODY DOES. clearly in this case my reasoning was flawed because she is a glorious character in her own right. (the fact here would be that i almost always like the underappreciated characters, but there is an exception to every rule)

6.  i loathe small children, except for when i adore them.

7. murder mysteries make me irrationally happy. (i think at one point i figured out the reason why they bring me so much joy but i never wrote it down and now it’s only a vague impression.)

wifeofbath sent: This is the Tumblr bear hug! ⊂( ̄(エ) ̄)⊃. Pass it to 15 of your favourite blogs to let them know that you love them (ノ^ヮ^)ノ

ahhhh, how sweet :D

(you’re one of my favourite blogs too!)

darling but no the point of them is that they’re funny and depressing and funny because they’re depressing okay

that’s okay, you can like them X)

but demotivators are despair.com

i just don’t like any of them

BURN THEM ROOT AND BRANCH

I absolutely adore that album! And the band at my church did “On Top of the World” at the beginning of service today :]

ahhhh, i think i like your church :)

You are so dang gorgeous.

you’re just a sweetheart :3
